Abstract

The need to promote quality scientific training for all citizens has become evident in recent decades. Some universities have created several dissemination events, such as Expociencia UniLeón, where researchers conduct very specific scientific workshops. This research aims to evaluate the response of the population to the dissemination workshop entitled: “Resistance to antibiotics”. The knowledge of the participants (before and after the workshop) and some aspects about the perception of the participants towards the activity (if they believe that it has been useful, if they have liked it or if it generates a predisposition to expand their knowledge) were measured. The results of this study were positive, showing greater interest of the population towards science if it is presented in this type of relaxed and practical scenarios
