In this work, an experience of assessment of both transversal and specific competences is presented in the subject of Fundamentals of Didactics of the Physical Activity of the Degree of Sciences of Physical Activity and Sports of the University of León. In this case we focus on the oral presentation of a previously made report through the use of the system called Pecha-Kucha. The formative evaluation process has been carried out with the use of an assessment scale as an evaluation instrument for the self-evaluation and co-evaluation processes and as a qualification instrument for the final assessment performed by the teacher. The results have been highly satisfactory and the students have been able to see how they can learn to make a clear and synthetic exposition, getting involved in the learning and evaluation process itself and in that of the classmates of the group. The experience has demonstrated the need of the students to be helped in the development of transversal competences, in this specific case, that of the oral presentation
