Abstract
Since the situation of women in the labour market is characterised by the persistence of discrimination, which leads to a deterioration of their working conditions and greater difficul-ties in accessing training, finding a job and developing their professional careers, Law 9/2017, of 8 November, on Public Sector Contracts, has introduced various ways of correcting this adverse situation and requiring strong business commitments to social quality on the grounds of gender.
