Abstract
As an introduction we start with the study of thc presence of wine in Isidoro de Sevilla, in the Garcineida and amongst the medieval Goliards. To continue we analyse the terms related to wine in the documentation from Asturias and León until 1230, that is to say: soils, places of production and buildings; plants; products; tasks and profcssions; and finally the equipment rclatcd to wine, thc most important section. Then we continue with the study of cidcr, which has many words in common with wine. The study finishes clarifying that there are not any other alcoholic drinks in the texts.
