Abstract
The article synthesizes the different types of evaluations to which the university professor must undergo throughout his academic life. In these evaluation processes, errors are made that cause negative results of said processes. Successes that promote successful evaluation are shown and strategies are recommended to achieve positive evaluations of the teaching and research activity.
