Abstract

The dimension of this compendium finds its most exact foundation in the specific competences on spectacles, having to include within the latter those that tend to facilitate rest, fun and recreation. Circumstances that, in certain aspects (rights of the spectators, safety and health of the establishments, premises and venues, and the avoidance of noise and nuisance) are basically reinforced or complemented by those related to the defense of the consumer and the environment. Consequently, the determination of the objectives and priorities contemplated in this legal study attends to the development and evolution of the leisure sector, the social dimension, the importance, the type or the situation of the activities and the dissuasive effect that is intended to be obtained with the inspection function.
