This paper reports the usage of Formative Assessment as a useful tool in improving the learning outcomes on students in college. This tool has been used in courses related to the technical field so as to assess how skills are acquired through Processing and Presentation of Papers. The tests performed show that increasing the Formative Assessment intensity not only improvcs academic outcomes but improvcs reflection, critical thinking and academic performance of students All this leads to a greater satisfaetion both for students and teachers alike.
