Validación al Castellano del Cuestionario de Identidad Social en Deporte

Abstract
La identidad social de los jugadores puede producir beneficios en el funcionamiento colectivo del equipo. Así, conocer la percepción de identidad social de los jugadores resulta esencial. Por ello, este estudio tuvo como objetivo adaptar y validar el Cuestionario de Identidad Social en Deporte al castellano (CISD-S). Participaron 1.075 jugadores, con edades comprendidas entre 12-40 años (M = 20.38; DT = 5.26). La estructura multidimensional del CISD-S, se validó utilizando un modelado de ecuaciones estructurales confirmatorio y exploratorio. Además, se analizó la consistencia interna mediante el alfa de Cronbach y el coeficiente Omega, la validez discriminante a través de correlaciones bivariadas entre los factores del CISD-S, su validez nomológica con la variable de identidad de liderazgo de atletas y del entrenador, la validez convergente analizando las cargas factoriales y la Varianza Media Extractada, y la invarianza factorial en función del género y el deporte con una secuencia de modelos complementarios. Se obtuvo una estructura multidimensional formada por tres factores de primer orden (conexiones intra-grupo, identificación grupal y el afecto intra-grupo). Además, se testó la estructura unidimensional formada por un único factor global, pero solo cuando se correlacionaron los ítems de las subescalas correspondientes a la estructura multidimensional del CISD-S. Ambas estructuras factoriales evidenciaron valores óptimos de consistencia interna (α y ω = .70 – .79). También, el CISD-S mostró una adecuada validez discriminante, nomológica y fue invariante respecto al género y tipos de deportes de equipo. Estos resultados sugieren que el CISD-S parece ser un método válido y fiable para medir la identidad social con deportistas de ambos géneros y en deportes de equipo. Así, consideramos que este instrumento puede ser muy adecuado para su utilización por parte de los profesionales del deporte.
