Zusammenfassung

The present work has tested the effect of the duration of the lactation onthe dairy milk in Alpine goats of Calporc from last four years. Cumulated milkproduction to 120 days (PMD120) and total milk production including dry period(PPD), were studied from 5855 lactations (2664 goats). PPD was affected byPMD120 and lactation length; and goats of Alpine breed can produced milkduring 24 months with the same milk yield than 11-12 months lactations.
