Resum

The objective of this study is to deepen the effectiveness and usefulness of Non- Pharmacological Therapies in people with Alzheimer's. In this study have participed 23 Associations of Relatives of people with Alzheimer's belonging to CEAFA (Spanish Alzheimer's Confederation). To achieve this objective, an explorative-descriptive methodology has been followed through a survey. The ad hoc questionnaire includes a SWOT analysis, as well as proposals for improvement on the usefulness and efficacy of these therapies. The results show that Non-Pharmacological Therapies are useful and effective; and that those who have some training in them, assiduously put them into practice. As positive factors, collaboration between professionals and the diversity of possible resources for their implementation stand out. The lack of financial support and recognition are some of the most relevant negative factors. As conclusions, they propose to improve resources, continuous training, interinstitutional collaboration, awareness and dissemination of the results obtained.
