Abstract

In the subject of Electric Motors and Drives, Grade in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Automation (third year), is located in Moodle the possibility that students will be grouped in threes (voluntary option). Each group should consult recommended to locate a set of data and solve a problem on a specific section of the subject, adding to the mere resolution any own contribution, such as the use of computer simulation tools bibliography. This experience allowed us to know each other and to assess the skills of their peers in motivation and responsibility. 61 own evaluations were obtained. At the end of the course they were invited to evaluate the other two peers through a survey enabled on the Moodle platform to evaluate these generic skills: Achievement motivation, results and accountability. In the next year we plan to enrich this experience by adding another task to work as a team that is to design a problem related to the agenda that, by drawing lots, will be assigned for resolution to the other (s) groups, an initiative that will enable progress in other transversal skills are as decision-making and quantitative assessment.
