Zusammenfassung

A crucial scenario is being experienced in Cuba, facing the new COVID-19 pandemic and it has had to resort to the variant of teleworking, an intelligent and viable way to use the knowledge and technical skills of workers who work from their homes and continue to establish a relationship with their institution. The individual-knowledge relationship can be made stronger with the support of technology. The following work aims to substantiate the importance of telework as part of the teacher's management from Science and Technology for the development of communication skills and the comprehensive training of the student in the teaching of Spanish as a second language (EL2). For the research, methods of qualitative methodology (historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, induction-deduction, documentary study) were used. Great motivation has been found in students, even the most inhibited, when using digital tools such as WhatsApp and voice chat to develop their communication skills through participation in virtual contests and thus be able to extend the process of teaching-learning beyond the classroom. This interaction has made it possible to establish a close teacher-student, student-student bond and the acquisition of digital competence.
