Abstract

Usually, we relate crenotherapy with the use made of it in private facilities created for that purpose: spas. However, there are places where the benefits and the mineral-medicinal water springs are freely available to the public, in the form of public or semi-public thermal baths, being the topical use one of the greatest advantages offered by its rapid absorption through the skin, and to which people who want to improve certain health problems can go, enjoy as recreation or even be a tourist destination.
