Abstract

The teleological interpretation of the labour reform contained in Royal Decree-Law 32/2021, of 28 December, on urgent measures for labour reform, the guarantee of employment stability and the transformation of the labour market has shown the idea of a radical change underlying the entire regulatory text. Thus, the reform aims to move in the opposite direction to what has been the norm in recent times. The recovery of labour rights and their guarantee, together with the promotion of internal flexibility measures as an alternative to terminations, are its main contributions and seek to transform the Spanish labour market in order to definitively leave behind its inconsistencies, ensuring the quality of employment and the dynamism of the productive fabric.
