Resumen

There are few occasions in whichSpanish philately has dealt with veterinarymedicine and, in the search carried out,we have not located publications onthis subject in Spain. Limiting ourselvesexclusively to the field of marcophilia, 11strictly veterinary postal cancellations thatwere issued between 1970 and 2003 werelocated; the images of these are shown,accompanied by a brief description ofthem and the events that justified andsurrounded their issuance. The postalcancellations have been framed in twogroups: Veterinary meetings, conferencesand congresses and Veterinary collegesand professional bodies, in turn orderedchronologically.
