Resumen

Robotics applied to education, although its use is still not widely widespread, it is gradually open-ing in our educational system. It is well-known for its relevance in all curricular areas and its importance if the methodology is correctly applied. This investigation is part of the Educational Research Project “Educational Robotics as a didactic strategy forthe development of digital competence in Primary Education (EDUCYL2020-03)”, financed by the Ministry ofEducation of Junta de Castilla y León through the General Directorate of Innovation and Teacher Training. The main aim of this investigation is to present the development of an experience on the use of educational robotics in 5th grade students of Primary Education. A didactic proposal formed by several projects of edu-cational robotics was applied for 5 weeks. The students formed three groups between 10 and 11 years old. They worked in groups of three, with assigned roles that rotated in each project to develop different skills. Therobotics material used was Lego Education WeDo. During the development of the different projects, we have observed positive results, both in most of the students and teachers and in the families of the students who par-ticipated. With the implementation of this study, we have experienced the different didactic possibilities that educational robotics can offer as a didactic resource for Primary Education classrooms.
