Resumen
The incidence of tumours in 726,855 sheep in the slaughterhouse wasstudied over a period of five years. A total of 34 (0.005%) were diagnosed,32 (0.1%) were observed in adult animals. Most of them were intestinalcarcinoma (18 cases). The high prevalence in the studied sheep hasdescribed in Australia, with sporadic cases and few reports in otherscountries. The possible aetiologies have been proposed as being relatedto herbicides or genetic transmit ions
