Abstract
The aim of this work is presenting the most common diseases diagnosed in sheep showing nervous clinical signs, on the basis on the experience gained inthe Pathology Diagnostic Service of the Veterinary Faculty of Leon. The causes and epidemiological conditions related to the cases are presented. The most commonly found were listeriosis, visna and coenurosis. Toxemic processes as enterotoxemia, pregnancy toxaemia and acidosis were also frequent. Cerebro-cortical necrosis, bacterial meningitis, abscesses, Aujeszky disease, Scrapie or malformations were encountered sporadically.
