Abstract
The increasing costs of the animal nutrition has led to the use of agricultural subproducts, some of them containtoxic substances. The province of León produces high amounts of sugar beet (Beta vulgaris), using its subproducts to fedsheeps. Sugar beet subproducts contain oxalic acid. The effect of feeding sheeps with these subproducts on blood parameters (alkaline phospatase, AST, ALT,GGT, calcium, magnesium, phosphate, total proteins, urea, creatinin and glucose) has been measured. It was observed adecrease in serum phospate and glycemia, but it was not observed any variation on calcemia
