Abstract

Business failure has been studied by numerous authors over the years. However, the relationship between business failure and the gender of the CEO (Chief Executive Order) of companies has not been analysed in depth. The data chosen has been large European companies in the time frame between 2010 and 2018. The aim concludes that there is a significant relationship between the gender of the CEO and business failure, with the result that companies led by women are less likely to fail than those led by men.
