Zusammenfassung

This paper presents a synthesis of the endeavors of two Barcelona University Educational Departments (MIDE and DOE) and the Catalonian Educational Supervision Department, in order to show an analyze the school evaluation models more used in Catalonia. We add to the analysis three foreign models (ECIS, GRIDS and DELA W ARE) as an external points of reference. We can point out as the more interesting findings, the public presentation of al these models to the well prepared audience of Santiago Symposium (celebrated in july 1988), the schemes developed to facilitate the comparative analysis among them, and their conclusions.
