Abstract
According to Leon Felipe, in Castilian lullabies there is a combination of elements which consists in prayer, complaint, shout, and Psalm that awakens the mind of the child instead of putting them to sleep. One of the consequences of listening to these types of lullabies may be the propensity of it being blasphemy, a practice endorsed by the Bible as a strategy to attract the attention of God.
