Abstract

Forty-nine intestinal infracommunities of woodmouse (Apodemus sylvaticus) were studied. They were related to the habitat and rodent somatic parameters:weigth, length and the index length/weigth. The data obtained show that the nine infrapopulations found have different effects on the host. Hymenolepis diminuta restricts its length and some digenea and particularly a nematode, Trichuris muris, origin important pathogenic effects that decrease the weigth and increase the index length/weigth considerably.
