Abstract

Competence in oral communication is essential to carry out the functions of teacher-tutors and counsellors, especially for counselling and information for audiences with diverse educational profiles. In this line, the Faculty of Education of the University of León has carried out a training action in the Degree in Primary Education and in the University Master's Degree in Educational Guidance with the aim of developing and evaluating the mastery of oral communication through the simulation of family interviews. In this study, a survey was carried out among the students of the two selected degrees with the aim of analysing the most developed competences through the simulation of interviews, and identifying the strengths and weaknesses in the development of the same in order to establish proposals for improvement.
