Resumen

Este artículo analiza la relación entre salud, trabajo, y el papel de la espiritualidad en el entorno laboral. Desde el momento en que nos relacionamos con otras personas y grupos con los que compartimos creencias, sentimientos y valores podemos entender que el factor religioso podría tener un correlato significativo para la salud. En este artículo se realiza un estado de la cuestión, con el objetivo de analizar la espiritualidad en el puesto de trabajo y su influencia en la salud laboral en las organizaciones. Los datos muestran que existen factores como la libertad religiosa, las prácticas y creencias en el lugar de trabajo, o la específica participación de las mujeres en este ámbito que tienen una correlación con aspectos como la discriminación en el trabajo y el aumento de la resiliencia laboral. Las conclusiones indican que la conciliación entre religión y trabajo puede ser un camino para mejorar la salud laboral de los trabajadores y de las organizaciones.
