Evolución de la Capacidad de Salto Como Respuesta a un Entrenamiento Pliométrico en Función del Genotipo de ACTN3

Resumen

El objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar la respuesta muscular a un entrenamiento pliométrico en función del genotipo de ACTN3, mediante la valoración de la evolución de la capacidad de salto, en un grupo de personas físicamente activas. Se utilizó un diseño experimental con medidas pre-post. Se evaluaron 68 personas jóvenes (21,98 ± 3,20 años) en 4 momentos de tiempo a lo largo de 48 horas. Se analizaron los saltos verticales Squat Jump, Counter Movement Jump y Drop Jump. El análisis de resultados se realizó con un ANOVA mixto de 3x4. La distribución de los genotipos de ACTN3, fue estadísticamente diferente en comparación con la mostrada en estudios que evalúan deportistas de potencia/velocidad, pero no así con los estudios que evalúan a deportistas de resistencia o a no deportistas. En cuanto al análisis del efecto del entrenamiento pliométrico, no se obtuvieron diferencias estadísticamente significativas ni de forma grupal ni de forma segregada en función del genotipo. En conclusión, los genotipos del gen ACTN3 no parecen modificar la altura alcanzada en los saltos tras realizar el entrenamiento pliométrico propuesto en el estudio.
