Abstract

In this paper we present our educational experience with the use of formative assessment during the Practicum. When we arrived to the classroom, the tutor was group dynamics with the students, but he told us that he had problems with individual and group responsibility that could not solve. To try to improve the behavior of students we decided carry out cooperative learning, however the problems continued. The changes we were doing did not have the effect we expected. Then we realized that the cause was that students were not aware of the problems that made them did not succeed decided to carry out, at the end of the sessions, shared assessment processes. Through them we will get the students to become aware and better understand the problems they had in the group. The new changes, based on what the students wanted to change helped us get that make individual and competitive behaviors were modified and all students would work to get the group achievement.
