Abstract

This research is intended to be a first step towards the elaboration of a tool that allows to find out knowledge base on players with mild intellectual disabilities with the intention of devising possible lines of methodological action within the annual planning of tactical training in the futsal. The proposed tool complies with the aim of analyzing the process of decision-making, based on the tactical base knowledge in futsal offensive actions by players with intellectual level disabilities, both with the results obtained with the methods of validity of a test (reliability, stability and internal consistency), as with the views provided by the experts in the group's work (debate). Accordingly, the discussion of data confirms the ability of this sector of the population in taking decisions to be more misguided when compared with people without intellectual disability. Subsequently, a second phase of research designed and implemented the intervention proposal, based on the comprehensive teaching method for futsal training. The intervention also provided an improvement in the offensive tactical principles for the actions of support, pass, uncheck and shoot with increased base knowledge. These actions were analyzed with the elaborate tool, in order to achieve the objective of the study: improve decision-making for futsal players with mild intellectual disabilities from the use of a comprehensive approach and enabling the increase of their basic knowledge. To achieve the objective of the study, the following aspects have been analyzed, the role of futsal in the development of tactical understanding in the mild intellectually disabled, the influence of mild intellectual disability on the tactical understanding of futsal and the role of sympathetic training in developing tactical understanding in room football players with mild intellectual disability
