Abstract
Authors' cocitation analysis (ACA) is an important method for revealing the intellectual base of a specialty. In the work a traditional analysis has been used from the articles contained in the Scopus database, published in the Knowledge Organization journal between 1993 and 2016. In our approach a distance based visualization is presented. The initial results of the analysis present four clusters of authors. It suggest four scientific relatedness areas The maps allows to identify the groups of authors that have greater interconnection with each other and in the whole of the network.
