Recently the City Council of León (Spain) has published the declaration of an "Acoustic Saturated Zone" (ZAS) with a corresponding delimitation of the protection area complemented with an area of security. Previously, Acoustics Laboratory of University of León has developed the study of the temporal evolution of night noise and the relationship with the pubs and leisure places, municipal services, or other activities that could produce noise in the area. It ́s analyzed in this communication, a part of the results obtained in the previous measures to the declaration ZAS, and justifying the extraordinary measures of local authorities, aimed to improve the night neighborhood acoustic situation.
