Abstract
The work done has been focused on trying to clarify, from the History of Art perspective, the patronage tasks of one the bishops that had one of the longest careers in the Salamanca chair during the XV century, more than thirty years. The prelate, who is traditionally known for being a scholar and owner of an important library, also bequeathed a broad testament that has been kept and preserved in the Archives of Cathedral of Salamanca, in which references to rich pieces -for different uses- are made that tell us about his likely tastes and aesthetic preferences.
