Validez de la pulsera de cuantificación Fitbit Flex® en la valoración del sueño

Resumen

Este estudio piloto busca evaluar la validez de las mediciones de los indicadores de calidad del sueño en la Fitbit Flex® en su modo Normal (FF), un dispositivo comercial que permite la medición la actividad diaria y el sueño en el día a día, comparándolos registros con los del Actigraph GR3X®, (considerado el Gold Standard en la evaluación de la calidad del sueño mediante actigrafía. Para lo anterior, se ha contado con sesenta y siete personas sin trastornos del sueño que portaron de noche simultáneamente durante una semana los monitores FF y el AGT3X, ambos en la muñeca. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que, a pesar de la existencia de diferencias significativas entre los dos instrumentos de medida, la alta correlación e ICC sugieren que el dispositivo comercial FF puede ser una herramienta útil para valorar la calidad del sueño, aunque los valores obtenidos no pueden ser considerados intercambiables con los registros de AGT3X.
