Zusammenfassung

T his p a p er describes an assessment instrument called F amil y Opinions: childre n ( FAOP-HI) designed, from adapted from the FAOP parent ́s version ( Robledo & Garcia, 2007 ) , in order to study th e students perception in relation to different dimensions of family environment, potentially linked to thei r per f ormance and school adjustment. It describes the scales that constitute the battery, which provid e information regarding the views of children around: their parent ́s involvement in education, the role pla y ed b y parents as partners and promoters in writing tasks, providing a favorable environment for th e development, related to the empowerment-maturity of children and control-affective parenting styles ; h ome climate; the student ́ s aspirations and expectations and, finally, their satisfaction with school. I t also p resents the results of the validation p rocess of the instrument, conducted with a sam p le of 595 s tudents enrolled in 4-2 grade of Primar y -Secondar y Education, which confirm that the FAOP-HI ha s adequate validity, content and construct, so such as high reliability for internal consistenc y
