Legal and empirically recognized the appropriateness of including families in the students education, especially if children have specific needs of educational support. However, for teachers to be able to this functional relationship with the families, they need to be trained. Thus, the objective of this study was to assess whether, in university education, until Primary Teaching Degree´s establishment, trains teachers to work with families. We have conducted interviews with students fromthe Faculty of Education of Leon for comment thereon, the same way, we have analyzed the curricula of different specialties of this Faculty until the European adaptation of qualifications. The results indicate that the training to work with parents received by graduates was limited, as perceive themselves and reflect the curriculum. During this study we received competitive funds from de MICINN project (EDU2010-19250, 2010-2013); besides from the competitive Project for Excellence Groups JCyL (GR-259; BOCyL 27 on April 2009, 2009-2011) and FEDER funds from de European Union.
