Sustainable development goals

Abstract

Beginning in the increasing social interest on school sport and the lack of studies about in Colombia, this research had as its main goal the characterization of the situation and teaching of school sport in Bogota, through the analysis of school sport programmes (PDE) offered in local schools (IEE) and developed by teachers and coaches. For achieving this, a questionnaire was designed, validated and applied in 108 schools (IEE) to 233 teachers and coaches in Bogota. The results reported on the type of PDE offered, available sport facilities, professional profile of the teachers and coaches, design characteristics of the PDE, didactic models used for teaching, and relations between the PDE, the physical education programs and the institutional education projects.
