Abstract
The Salamanca University Proyect of Evaluation of Scientific Policies (EPOC) performed a bibliometrical analysis during 1992 in the fields of biology and agricultural and veterinary research which has made it possible, among other things, to determine the degree of coverage of the Science Citation Index in reduced scientific communities.
