Abstract
This work centres on the study of one of the handcrafted trades that, along the Medievo, a major dcvelopment experiences in León's city, since thcy are the craftsman. In order to know the evolution experienced by the aboye mentioned trade, there has combined the information contributed so much by the written sourcesas and by the interventions archaeological that, up to the moment, have allowed to locate a series of picces produced with this material.
