Abstract
The identification of eighty two species of aphids captured in Mallorca constitutes an initiation of the study of Balearic aphid fauna. Most species belong to the Fam. Aphidiae. The total number of species sofar recorded is thus rais'ed from 6 to 84. Furthermore six species are recorded as new for the Ibero-Balearic fauna: Aphis (A) fumana e, Aphis (A) viticis, Capitophorus pakansus, Dysaphis (D) apiifolia petroselini, Dysaphis (D) crataegi siciliensis y Tetraneura (Tetraneurella) akinire. New information is added on the biology of several species, as the range of host plants is significantly increased.
