Abstract

This paper is divide in two parts. The first one has a theoretic and metholological nature, gathering some of the elements of the immigration focuse by the United Nations as well as International Organisation of Work, and proposing which are the situations and the main causes of it. In the methological section, we are gathering, in a special manner, the techniques we are applying to the case studies, underscoring the significance of the different ways of inteview. This methological part is completed with some considerations about written and visual aspects. The second part gathers the testimonies and evidences of the emigrants interviewed in the city of León, about specific aspects of identity and rejected, education, and family relationship. This is a first step in the whole study about immigration in León (Spain).
