Abstract
The Educational Reform which Spain is carrying out is not the exclusive heritage of our nation. Traditionally avanced countries such as Sweden are facing the crisis and the Reform in parallel. This article attempts an analysis of the Swedish educational system, wit its nine years of compulsory schooling and educative descentralization to council level. The teachers opinion, the educational quality, the school posts in secondary and college areas are innovative aspects questioned by the Swedish system.
