Abstract
The aim of this paper is to analyse a type of coordinative construction constituted by two sentences --the first imperative, the second declarative -- linked by the copulative conjunction y or by the disjunctive conjunction 'o'. We will try to determine to what extent the imperative retains its appellative sense, as well as to give an account of how the pragmatic interpretation of the second component has a decisive influence on the final interpretation of the imperative. Finally, we will explain how it is possible that this mode assumes a conditional sense.
