Resumo
A sample of specialised digital collections, born in the field of humanities research, is analysed in order to outline the current phase of these collections, assess the strengths and weaknesses of these systems and propose possible future actions. For this aim, the digital libraries housed in the ARACNE -Network of Digital Humanities and Hispanic Letters are selected as the object of study. Four blocks of analysis have been established that deal with the contents of the collection, the standards and data models, the user interface and the added values developed. The results show that the digital collections analysed represent a singular contribution, both as tools for researchers, particularly hispanists, and as regards their notable contribution to the dissemination of documentary heritage. The conception of ARACNE as a node that merges humanities projects under interoperability standards increases the visibility of research and underlines the benefits of coordinated actions to interrelate information.
