Abstract

In the current report is intended to contribute to an active methodologies search, in some cases new and some others already proven to incorporate them the new educational framework. The inescapable assessment by competences is a challenge considered since the entrance of the new degrees of the EHEA. The great expectation on this issue has led to experiment in the approach of alternative methodologies. This report proposes and analyzes a methodology based on the Evaluation, with the aim of achieving the acquisition of skills: The Formative Assessment. The Formative Assessment shared and treated as a tool to improve the results of the learning of students in Degrees. This tool is experienced in a technical nature subject to evaluate the acquisition and the skills level acquired by students. This tool, mainly tries to achieve, the acquisition of reflecting capacity and critical thinking of the technical disciplines university students. This study is based on the experience of an engineering students group with a commitment that may be transferable to other subjects of the same nature.
