Resumo
This paper presents the results of the faunal study of Trichoptera larvae carried out in rivers located in the southwest of the province of Ourense, during the years 2001 and 2002. The survey was performed at 20 points distributed in the rivers Deva, Tuño, Fragoso and Cadós. A total of 13,594 individuals of 51 trichopteran species belonging to 3 families of Spicipalpia and 12 of Annulipalpia were collected. The chorological analysis of the species of the study area indicates that the group with the greater representativeness was the one of the Iberian species (55%), followed by the center-southeuropean (22%) and the holoeuropean species (10%).
