Abstract
New data on the Hydraenidae family (Coleoptera) in stagnant waters of Speical Area of Conservation (Natura 2000 Network) of Galicia (NW Spain) are presented. The faunistic knowledge of this family in Galicia is extended with the first record of the genus Aulacochthebius Kuwert, 1887, species Aulacochthebius exaratus (Mulsant, 1844), and the species Hydraena affusa D?__Orchymont, 1936 e Hydraena corrugis D?__Orchymont, 1934. Moreover, new data about species previously cited in this region are added, extending their geographical distribution
