Abstract
In recent years there has been an increase in the consideration of geological heritage as a resource that emphasizes the scientific, educational and recreational value of geology. One consequence of this growth is the delimitation of areas with socioeconomic and cultural development strategies that are based on geoheritage sites. This is the case of the territories under the category of geological parks and geoparks, where it is common to design and develop different strategies of geological dissemination that may be useful in the formal teaching of geology. Several experiences of geological dissemination developed in four Spanish geoparks (Coast Vasque Geopark, Maestrazgo Geopark, Geopark of Molina de Aragón and the Alto Tajo, and the Geological park of Chera) are described in this article.
