Zusammenfassung
The present work wants to highlight the figure of Eduardo Bertrán Rubio, whom we copsider to be the forerunner of Electrotherapy in a scientific way in Spain, in the nineteenth century. After a brief biography of the author, we list his most important works in Electrotherapy. We analyzed more exhaustively the works published between 1872-1873, and underline the most importan! characteristics of each one.
