Resumen

This experimental study aims to research the influence, within the class group, of cognitive effort and variables related to ADHD, such as sustained attention, working memory and other indicators, in written composition. 326 children 10 to 16 years old were assessed in both the writing process and the product, and others variables related to ADHD. The results show that attention, working memory and central executive variables affect the levels of written composition. This confirms the significant implication and relevance of these psychological variables in the writing process and product. We discuss the implications and comment on the shortcomings as well the perspectives for the future.
