Abstract
This paper means to be an approximation to one of the phenomenons more interesting of the Visigothic Spain. It deals with studing the episcopal capitalization of the cult of the saints and its social background, in this case through the figure of Braulio of Saragossa and his Vita Sancti Aemiliani, in the setting for the global set of problems of Late Antique Hispania.
