Abstract

The present study set out to develop a specific tool to assess the impact of music and its connection with nature among future teachers, as well as their prior knowledge on this issue in relation to the various interventions that classical music professionals have made throughout history. Also included is a sample that consisted of several questions asked to 85 students of Primary Education of the Faculty of Education of the University of Valladolid, of various mentions, and it was assumed that they represented the future teaching population of this level. As a result, it was confirmed that the interaction between music and nature is bidirectional in nature, with the attentive observation of nature serving as a continuous source of inspiration for musicians and composers throughout history. In addition to this finding, the article also delves into the role of music as an artistic expression of natural beauty and its usefulness in environmental education and the promotion of environmental conservation, as well as in emotional processes. It also engages in a review of the academic literature and the presentation of research to broaden our understanding of this intricate interaction between art and the natural world.
